For yoga practitioners seeking to deepen their practice, we offer a registered yoga school with 200 hours of teacher training registered under the Yoga Alliance.

MY TEACHING PRACTICE

I teach vinyasa classes with a power sequence that helps students practice full mindfulness as well as explore the potential of their body to develop strength and improve their flexibility. My classes are always well-rounded and on point to help target areas in the body. I always incorporate in my classes, the variations of human anatomy so the sequence would be more functional. I complement my classes with a still but deeper stretch through the Yin and Yang yoga flow. I trained in 2014 in Bangkok under the mentorship of Jo Phee a senior teacher of Yin Yoga Worldwide. It involves teaching perspective in TCM as well as the theory of myofascial release. 

I am currently registered under Yoga Alliance as E-RYT500 and YACEP. I am the lead trainer of RYS200 Mindful Yoga School. We already had 15 batches of YTT training and a current 16th batch of the 200hrs YTT.

The yoga asana practice and mindfulness meditation created a very steady transformation for me, it made me more present in the moment and helped me to manage my stress in daily life. It not only improves my relationships but it helps me to become an effective and proactive decision-maker. In 2017 amidst a very sad and tragic episode of my life, I cling to the practice to help me stay sane and find the transformation that would resonate with my purpose. I began another journey I trained for another 300-hour Advance Yoga Teachers Training under Hari Om Yoga School in Sezzadio Piedmont Italy, this aimed to help me complete my ERYT 500 Yoga Teacher Accreditation to help us train new Yoga Teachers to work with us in the studio as well as our corporate clients. We are currently in the 4th batch of our 200hrs Yoga Teachers training and past batches are now teaching in our studios and other studios as well as corporate and private classes. Our goal to have more studios open in Cebu and the rest of the Visayas region is coming to fruition.

Upon completing our RYS 200 School’s 200-hour Yoga Teachers Training, you will be eligible to register as an RYT teacher under Yoga Alliance. This recognition enables you to teach yoga anywhere in the Philippines and around the world.

The Yoga Alliance Curriculum

Encompasses the following components

Techniques, Training, and Practice: 100 Hours

• Cultivating mindfulness through meditation
• Practicing pranayamas (breathing techniques)
• Mastering Surya Namaskar Kriyas (sun salutations)
• Exploring mantras and chants

Teaching Methodology: 25 Hours

• Enhancing communication skills, including group dynamics, time management, and establishing boundaries
• Addressing the specific needs of individuals and special populations within a group setting
• Understanding principles of demonstration, observation, assisting, and correcting
• Exploring different teaching styles and the qualities of an effective teacher
• Gaining insight into the student learning process
• Exploring business aspects of teaching yoga, such as marketing and legal considerations

Anatomy and Physiology: 20 Hours

• Studying the skeletal system with its 14 segments and the 10 major muscle groups
• Understanding functional movement in yoga
• Recognizing skeletal variations among individuals
• Exploring the fascial network and its significance
• Identifying common injuries in yoga
• Delving into the subtle anatomy of yoga

Yoga Philosophy, Lifestyle, and Ethics for Yoga Teachers: 30 Hours

• Studying the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali
• Exploring the eight limbs of yoga
• Understanding the history of yoga
• Reflecting on the philosophical aspects of yoga
• Embracing a yogic lifestyle and ethical considerations for yoga teachers

Practicum: 10 Hours

• Engaging in practice teaching (excluding assisting, observing, or giving feedback)
• Receiving and providing constructive feedback
• Observing others as they teach
• Assisting students during classes led by other teachers

By completing the Yoga Alliance Curriculum, you will acquire a comprehensive foundation in yoga instruction, enabling you to confidently teach yoga anywhere in the world.

Tuition Fee
The fee for the Yoga Teachers Training (YTT) program is Php 75,000.00. However, if you register before the early bird deadline, you can take advantage of the discounted rate of Php 70,000. To secure the early bird rate, a down payment (DP) of Php 7,000.00 must be received on or before the early bird date. Once the early bird period ends, we are still pleased to offer a 5% discount from the total amount. This brings the discounted fee to Php 71,250.00, with a DP of Php 8,250.00.

Payment terms are as follows:

  • Balance of Php 63,000.00

  • Monthly installments of Php 5,775.00 for 12 months (with 10% interest)

  • Monthly installments of Php 6,300.00 for 10 months (interest-free)
